Eurotech WinDoors® use only three-layer laminated timber because this system ensures that there is no twisting and warping of the sashes and frames, and it maintains a constant moisture level in the timber. The exterior lamellas quartercut (to prevent cracking), with a long grain, and we guarantee no knots or defects in the outside lamellas. Joinery profiles The timber profiles we use for our joinery are by far stronger than the profiles used for ordinary sash windows (usually only 40 mm). This results in stronger window sashes and frames, double tenon corner joints instead of single tenon joints, and better thermal properties.
